I am the History, African-American Studies, and Women's Studies Librarian at Georgia State University. I come to librarianship from a previous life as an instructor in history and American Studies, and hold a PhD in US History from Rutgers University as well as an MSIS from the University of Texas at Austin. My historical research focuses on 19th- and 20th-century US girls' intellectual history. I am also working on a collaborative, small-scale database of biographical information on post-World War II Intel Science Talent Search finalists.
